Clear information about what JIMRUC earplugs do, how to choose, and how to use them responsibly.
Understanding JIMRUC
What are JIMRUC earplugs?
JIMRUC earplugs are reusable earplugs designed to reduce unwanted or excessive sound entering your ears. They are made for situations including sleep, study, work, travel, relaxation, concerts and other noisy environments.
Are JIMRUC earplugs headphones?
No. They do not play music, connect to Bluetooth or require batteries. They physically reduce the amount of sound reaching your ears, depending on the model and fit.
Do JIMRUC earplugs block all sound?
No. Earplugs reduce sound; they do not normally make your surroundings completely silent. The result depends on the model, fit, ear-tip size and type of sound around you.
Can I still hear people while wearing JIMRUC?
Generally, yes, but sounds will be quieter. Speech clarity depends on the model, fit and environment. Choose an everyday-use model when communication matters.
What does dB mean?
dB means decibels, a measurement used to describe sound levels. Any stated noise-reduction figure refers to performance under specified test conditions.
Does a higher dB rating always mean better?
No. More reduction is not automatically better. Sleep, a concert and an office call for different experiences, so choose for the situation rather than the highest number.
Choosing and using
What is the difference between Silence, Core, Flow and Pulse?
Silence is for sleep and rest. Core is for everyday use, work and study. Flow is for travel and commuting. Pulse is for concerts, nightlife and social events.
Can I use JIMRUC for sleeping?
Yes. JIMRUC Silence is designed with sleep and quiet environments in mind. It can reduce everyday disturbances, but it does not guarantee complete silence.
Can I hear my alarm?
You may still hear an alarm, but it can sound quieter. Heavy sleepers or anyone relying on an important alarm should use an additional alert method such as vibration.
Can I use JIMRUC at concerts?
Yes. Pulse is designed to reduce surrounding sound intensity while you continue experiencing the event. It is not a guarantee against hearing damage; keep distance from speakers and limit exposure time.
Can I use JIMRUC on a motorcycle?
It may reduce some riding noise, but safety comes first. You must remain sufficiently aware of horns, sirens, traffic and other important cues.
Can I use JIMRUC for studying or working?
Yes. Core is designed for distracting everyday sound while you remain connected to your surroundings. For machinery, construction, firearms, aviation or other extreme hazards, use appropriately certified protection.
Fit, care and safety
Will JIMRUC fit my ears?
JIMRUC includes multiple ear-tip sizes: XS, S, M and L. Choose the size that creates a secure seal without uncomfortable pressure.
What if an earplug feels uncomfortable?
Try another ear-tip size. A tip that is too large can create pressure, while one that is too small may not seal. Remove it if discomfort continues and do not force it.
How do I clean JIMRUC earplugs?
Gently rinse the silicone components with clean water. Let them dry fully before storing them, and avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the material.
How long will they last?
Lifespan depends on use, cleaning and storage. Replace them if damaged, permanently deformed, dirty despite cleaning or no longer fitting properly.
Can I share my earplugs?
We recommend not sharing earplugs that have been inserted into your ears. Each person should use their own for hygiene.
Can children use JIMRUC?
Follow the recommended age and product instructions. For young children, a parent or guardian should decide whether earplugs are appropriate and ensure safe fitting.
Can I use JIMRUC if I have an ear problem?
If you have ear pain, an active infection, discharge, recent ear surgery or another ear condition, speak with a healthcare professional before using earplugs.
Can JIMRUC protect me from hearing damage?
JIMRUC products reduce sound, but no consumer earplug guarantees protection in every situation. For occupational or extremely loud environments, use protection certified for the specific hazard.
